Day 141: Blood Drive Carnage
Today was our school’s Blood Drive and I had lots of students who elected to give blood during my class….darn. Glad they want to help out, but wish they could have missed another class.
Oh well. We watched an Against All Odds video by the Annenberg Learner and narrated by Dr. Pardis Sabeti about the historical story of how statisticians built the case against DDT as the culprit behind plummeting peregrine falcon population numbers.
I have the original VCR videos but Annenberg has updated them and actually have some study guides to go along with the unit…all for free!
